Kylie out hunting

We've been out hunting for geese with Kylie. She realy does a good job bringing in the shot geese. The hunters who invited us are driving throughout the fields on a trike with a trailer and Kylie is very proud she's one of the team. And I'm very proud of Kylie!

Huntingtraining with the family

Last week we did a huntingtraining with our friends, the owners of Jazz's father Seppo. It's very beautifull at their place, they own a farm in the East of Holland. They also raised Jordi until he was old enough to go to England. We made a few beautifull pictures shown above.

Griff vom Silberberg (Falko)

Above and underneath: Jazz together with Falko

Let's introduce you to the father to be of Jazz's next litter named Falko. His pedigree name: Griff vom Silberberg. He's a total hunk, very, very handsome! as you can see on the pictures. Jazz also loves him, but that doesn't tell us much, becuase she loves all the men around :-)) Falko passed all the important huntingtests in Germany: VJP, HZP, VGP, Bringtreueprüfung and Begleithündeprüfung and his owners hunt with him. So his offspring should inherit some real huntingtalent from him.

Kalle

Above: in Stockholm Kalle became Junior World Winner and BOB

Above: Kalle at the Dutch Clubmatch. He became Reserve Best Dog
Underneath: youngster Kalle at one of his first shows

Kalle's owners, the IJpelaar family, love to go to dogshows. And what a happy circumstance Kalle is almost perfect in his looks. At the moment he gained following titles: Dutch Youth Champion, German Youth Champion, Europa Jugend Sieger, Bundes Jugend Sieger, Best Junior Dog at the Large Münsterlander Clubmatch in England, Reserve Best Dog at the Dutch Clubmatch and Junior World Winner and BOB at the Worldshow in Stockholm. Kalle is also very talented for fieldwork. He is kind of a Joker and makes fun out if everything, so it's hard work for Hennie to get Kalle to do what Hennie wants, but it's getting better by the day now.

Bonnie

Bonnie is a very sweet-charactered dog with excellent looks, owned by Annemieke. She looks a lot like Jazz, especially in her interests. In September she will also join a few fieldworkmatches and I'm very curious how she will pass. She always has her nose way up in the air and loves to chase birds.

Ginny

Ginny's owner is Arien. She also owns a Small Münsterlander called Raisa. Arien has a huge garden with all the agility attributes in it and both dogs love agility.

Gimli

Gimli is also a very passionate good-looking chap. His owners Jeanet and Jeroen weren't realy used to a huntingdog, but they are fast learners. At the moment they started doing agility with Gimli. These pictures were taken on a familytraining we organised. Gimli hadn't worked with game before, but after a few hours of training he could present the duck as a proffesional :-))

Django jr. (Max)

Django jr. is a very passionate dog, also with good looks. Everywhere his owner Nico turns up with Django they win something, even without training :-)) Nico loves to do huntingtests with Django and we also talked him into the fieldwork, where Django turned out to be a natural talent. Ofcourse they practise a lot and we expect to hear a lot about Django's achievements in the future.

Jordi

Jordi was espescially picked by Marie Spence from England to be beautifull and good-charactered. If that would come out (ofcourse you can never be a 100% sure) he might bring some new blood to the island. Well, Jordi developped realy well. His eyes, elbows and hips are all checked and everything looks very good. Let's hope he makes beautifull puppies! At Crufts he ended up second in Junior Class and at the Dutch Clubmatch he became Youth Champion 2008. Jordi lived his first 10 months in Holland because of the strict import-rules in England and we all started to love him very much and are very happy when he comes to visit Holland ones in a while.

Kylie

Above: Best Bitch and Best Dog on the Dutch clubmatch 2008. Best dog was Django vom Sülztal which happens to be Kylie's dad! He also became BOB

As Kylie was returned to us, we didn't expect anything more of her then just to be our and Jazz's friend. She turned out to be a beauty. It started with the Winnershow when she was only 10 months old. She became Best of Breed by beating the Championclass dog. In the mean time she became Dutch Youth Champion and above all she became Best Bitch on the Dutch Clubmatch, where there were 30 other bitches to beat. I'm not realy a showperson myself, but I have friends who talked me into it and they show my dogs for me. Kylie has already enough points to become Dutch Champion, but has to wait untill she's aged over 27 months.
I'm more an outdoor person, so I do a lot of huntintraining and fieldwork with Kylie. We went to Germany for a VJP. When you click on the certificate above it gets big enough to read. She passed the VJP with 71 points which is pretty good. In the Netherlands and in Belgium her natural huntinginstincts were tested. At the test in the Netherlands, it wasn't realy her day and she got away with only a very good. In Belgium she corrected that very well by getting an excellent with 138 points which is very good. We joint 3 fieldworkmatches now where she earned an honourfull announcement. And once in a while we are asked to join a real hunt, where Kylie is supposed to apport the game. So we are pretty busy together.

Wheelbarrow

So the wheelbarrow has been more crowded in the past... in Spring 2009 we hope to fill it up again with a lot af beautifull puppies. We do export to abroad, so when you are interested let us know.

Jazz and Kylie

Jazz and Kylie are verrrrry attached to eachother. These pictures tell the story. For me, as their boss, it's hard work to become part of their unit, but I become more succesfull every day.

Jazz's first litter

Well, this is a wheelbarrow full of Stommeerpolder puppies from Jazz's first litter, born on January 7, 2007. They were gorgeous!. We found 11 couples of nice loving people who wanted to share their household with them. But after 2 1/2 weeks one of the girls was brought back to us. She was placed in a young family but it didn't work out. She was called Nova. It wouldn't have been a bother at all to find her a new family, but Jazz was so totally happy to have one of her puppies back, that we just couldn't be so cruel to let her go again. We renamed her as Kylie and so Kylie came into our family.

Jazz

Jazz is our first Large Münsterlander. She was born on January 1, 2004. She's a very joyfull and peopleloving dog and our best friend. At first she's a housedog and because she and we like it, we do all kinds of huntingtraining with her. Because she is our first huntingdog, ofcourse we made a lot of mistakes in training her, but we have a lot of fun and that's the main thing. Her exteriour turned out to be excellent, she's Dutch Exteriour Champion. Because her breeder liked to know, we had her checked on HD (A), ED (free) and eye-deceases (free, to be rechecked at the age of 6) As she turned out to be so beautifull, and healthy and because she realy loved to play with puppies, we deceided we would experience her to have a litter and so it happened. Kennel v.d. Stommeerpolder started. (Stommerpolder is the area we live in)
