Yesterday at the dogshow in Wieze, Belgium, also Django won 2nd place in the Huntingdog Group!! This is very extraordinairy, for except for his brother Kalle, no Dutch Large Munsterlander ever achieved so well at a dogshow. Peggy IJpelaar was beautifully showing Django. Because of her schoolwork she could not join her parents to Sweden where at the same time Kalle had to show. Kalle got BOB and Winner 2009. He now may call himself Swedish Champion. As soon as we have the official pictures of Django's achievement, ofcourse we will publish them.

Crufts write-ups
The Crufts write-ups have been published at the Dogworld paper. This is what judge Christine McDonald thought of Jordi, Kalle and Kylie:
--
PGD (12) 1 Spence’s Jordi van de Stommeerpolder from Cicada, mature dog in full coat & excellent condition. Tends to stand a bit bum high at times. Wide fully developed thighs & second thighs giving strength to hindquarters which he used well on the move, strong bone with well padded feet, beautifully presented with coat in excellent condition;
--
Working D (5) 1 Ijpelaar’s Kalle van de Stommeerpolder, well constructed alert energetic dog, sound construction & movement, well proportioned head, intelligent & biddable expression, excellent front, straight forelegs, well padded tight feet, good topline & underline. Quite taken with him here & kept in final few for challenge but looked a little raw against the more mature dogs;
--
Working B (3,1) 1 Spaargaren-Braam’s Dutch YCH Nova v d Stommeerpolder, good head, outline & depth of brisket, well sprung ribs carried back to strong loin, moved well with long gait & good drive, in excellent condition, well handled to get the best from her;

Jordi 1st in Post Graduate Class (dogs)
Kalle 1st in Special Working Gundog Class (dogs)
Kylie (Nova) 1st in Special Working Gundog Class (bitch)
Jazz (in the middle) was in the Open Class, where all the English champion bitches were shown. Unfortunately she didn't make it, but looked and moved beautifully.

We were pretty succesfull showing at Crufts last weekend! All three Stommeerpolder "puppies" became 1st in Class and were showing in the final round for Best Dog and Best Bitch of breed. Kalle even stayed in until the last 4 dogs! There were 121 Large Munsterlanders shown. Well I haven't seen that many LM's together in my whole life! It was great to watch and we had a good time.
Ilona, thank you very much for your company, support and showing Jazz and Kylie for me. And Cheryl, thank you very much for your hospitality and great cooking!! while staying at your place!

Safe and sound
Doedag
Tough guys carrying a geese. Kylie's got practical experience with it (above), but Kalle wondered what would be the best way to lift it. He's still perfectly bringing it to Hennie, although a little unhandy :-))
Underneath Kalle is bringing in a very bad smelling fitch, you could tell by the way he looks. Kylie totally refused to take the fitch because of that bad smell. She rather fetches pheasants for instance, as in the picture above.
On February 21 the Dutch Large Munsterlander Club organised a Doedag. On that day there were a lot of multiple tests you could do with your dog, without competition. And there was a lot of game provided. A fantastic opportunity to have a good training and a lot of fun. Ofcourse Kalle and Kylie were there, but also Ginny was present. Unfortunately she was not in our group, so I couldn't make any pictures of her performanse.
