Aren't they lovely! The little boy is dark, after his parents. But realy, it seems like the little girl looks after her grandmother Jazz :-))

Pax v.d. Stommeerpolder

Today we met Pax. In the summertime Pax lives in Sweden (lucky Pax!) Pax is a very bussy chap. He used to be very tiny, but wow did he grow up well!! Another dog to be very proud of.

Jazz Bundessieger

We had the crazy plan together with the IJpelaar family to go to the Crufts with our dogs in March 2009. Only for showing there you'll have to qualify and in the Netherlands you can only qualify at the Winner show in Amsterdam. Kalle, Kylie and Jordi already have their qualifications, only Jazz didn't. The IJpelaar family already entered Kalle for the Bundessieger-Zuchtschau in Dortmund and there you can also qualify for Crufts. They offered me to take Jazz overthere and have a try. Well, it did work for sure, thanks to Peggy who excellently handled Jazz! Jazz became BOB (Best of Breed) at the Bundessieger show and again the next day at the National show. I photographed her with all the trofees she gained, although with me ofcourse she doesn't want to stand properly :-)) Handling is a real proffession. Now off we go to the Crufts next year!

Kylie on a real pheasant hunt

Above: Kylie points out a pheasant, hidden in the crops

Last week we were invited to help hunting on pheasants in the field. Well, that's where we did all the practising for! So yes, ofcourse we wanted to help. And Kylie really did very well. She pointed out all the game beautifully (also the hare's) and because of her, several pheasants came out of the crops. Only the cocks were shot. On the picture above Kylie gets petted, because the pheasant-cock was shot because of her, but if you look at her face, she'd rather not have all the attention, instead she'd rather carry on working.

Jordi is a dad now!!

Above: 1 day old
Underneath: 1,5 weeks old. The biggest one is the boy.

Jordi and his girlfriend Blythe (pedigree name: Tarkanya Holly's Heroine) got 2 beautifull puppy's on October 9. Giving birth wasn't all that easy for Blythe this time. One puppy unfortunately got very stuck and because of that he and 6 other puppy's died at birth. But they still got these 2 gorgeous little ones, a boy and a girl. You can watch them grow every day, they have plenty nipples with lots of milk to drink from. So Jazz is a grandmother now :-))

Kylie, Kalle and Django are good fielworkers

Above: Django after a good hunt

Above: Kalle at work
Underneath: Kylie after a good hunt

All three are hard workers in the field. Obsessed by trying to find the game in between the sugarbulbs. We had several tests the last weeks and they all won a qualification, which means they found a pheasant, pointed it and pushed it out.
Sometimes a dog hunts the field very well, but because they are wild birds, there were no pheasants in its part of the field. When the judge thinks the dog did a very good job hunting the field, he gives an honourfull announcement to that dog. Kylie's got two of those the last weeks. I'm very proud. All three now are official Working Class dogs on dogshows.

Walking on the moor

While Jordi is becomming a father in October, Kalle passed the HZP test and we just heard Django jr. was BOB in Luxembourg at the dogshow, we are just having nice walks together. We are inbetween seasons now. In a few weeks time the fielwork season starts where Kylie has to show her talents. But for now we have a few relaxed weeks to look forward to.

Kalle passed the HZP test!

They have been training realy hard for this German test and it's rewarded. Kalle just passed the HZP with a fantastic 173 points. Congratulations Hennie and Kalle! Now Kalle is officially a working-dog.

Kylie out hunting

We've been out hunting for geese with Kylie. She realy does a good job bringing in the shot geese. The hunters who invited us are driving throughout the fields on a trike with a trailer and Kylie is very proud she's one of the team. And I'm very proud of Kylie!

Huntingtraining with the family

Last week we did a huntingtraining with our friends, the owners of Jazz's father Seppo. It's very beautifull at their place, they own a farm in the East of Holland. They also raised Jordi until he was old enough to go to England. We made a few beautifull pictures shown above.

Griff vom Silberberg (Falko)

Above and underneath: Jazz together with Falko

Let's introduce you to the father to be of Jazz's next litter named Falko. His pedigree name: Griff vom Silberberg. He's a total hunk, very, very handsome! as you can see on the pictures. Jazz also loves him, but that doesn't tell us much, becuase she loves all the men around :-)) Falko passed all the important huntingtests in Germany: VJP, HZP, VGP, Bringtreueprüfung and Begleithündeprüfung and his owners hunt with him. So his offspring should inherit some real huntingtalent from him.

Kalle

Above: in Stockholm Kalle became Junior World Winner and BOB

Above: Kalle at the Dutch Clubmatch. He became Reserve Best Dog
Underneath: youngster Kalle at one of his first shows

Kalle's owners, the IJpelaar family, love to go to dogshows. And what a happy circumstance Kalle is almost perfect in his looks. At the moment he gained following titles: Dutch Youth Champion, German Youth Champion, Europa Jugend Sieger, Bundes Jugend Sieger, Best Junior Dog at the Large Münsterlander Clubmatch in England, Reserve Best Dog at the Dutch Clubmatch and Junior World Winner and BOB at the Worldshow in Stockholm. Kalle is also very talented for fieldwork. He is kind of a Joker and makes fun out if everything, so it's hard work for Hennie to get Kalle to do what Hennie wants, but it's getting better by the day now.

Bonnie

Bonnie is a very sweet-charactered dog with excellent looks, owned by Annemieke. She looks a lot like Jazz, especially in her interests. In September she will also join a few fieldworkmatches and I'm very curious how she will pass. She always has her nose way up in the air and loves to chase birds.

Ginny

Ginny's owner is Arien. She also owns a Small Münsterlander called Raisa. Arien has a huge garden with all the agility attributes in it and both dogs love agility.

Gimli

Gimli is also a very passionate good-looking chap. His owners Jeanet and Jeroen weren't realy used to a huntingdog, but they are fast learners. At the moment they started doing agility with Gimli. These pictures were taken on a familytraining we organised. Gimli hadn't worked with game before, but after a few hours of training he could present the duck as a proffesional :-))

Django jr. (Max)

Above: Peggy showing Django at the Gundogshow.

Above: Django with his trofee, won at the Belgian VJP
Underneath: Nico was handed over the trofee for the Best Large Münsterlander on the fieldworkmatch

Django jr. is a very passionate dog, also with good looks. Everywhere his owner Nico turns up with Django they win something, even without training :-)) Nico loves to do huntingtests with Django and we also talked him into the fieldwork, where Django turned out to be a natural talent. Ofcourse they practise a lot and we expect to hear a lot about Django's achievements in the future.
